About

Our Story

Established for more than 50 years, Sutherland Studio is a family oriented dance studio, dedicated to instructing and encouraging children of all ages and levels to achieve their potential and reach their goals. Located in North West London, the studio offers high quality instruction in Highland, Scottish National Dances, Highland Choreography, a comprehensive Stretch and Strength Program and Ballet for Highland Dancers. Instruction is provided in the form of small group classes.

Various events are held throughout the year to provide opportunities to match skill and talent with dancers from other communities locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. Both traditional Scottish dances and creative choreographies are featured at these events.

Entertainment venues often request dancers to perform for Robbie Burns Day, weddings, recitals and senior residence facilities.

Dancers from Sutherland Studio have won championship and runner-up titles in Canada, United States, Australia and Scotland. Many have gone on to become performers, teachers and judges.

Anne Sutherland is dedicated to and passionately involved in promoting dance within the highland dance community and also with community events within London and Western Ontario area.
